Reports your clients will actually open.
Report is a spreadsheet built around your firm's real numbers — pull straight from Flow, write the formulas your clients expect to see, and hand over a report that looks like the ones they're used to, not an export nobody opens.
Purpose
Your numbers, in the shape a client already trusts.
Most reporting is either a raw export nobody reads or a spreadsheet someone rebuilds by hand every month. Report sits between the two — it pulls live from Flow's records, so the numbers stay current, but it presents them as a spreadsheet with real formulas, the format clients are already used to seeing from their accountant.
What it does
From raw transactions to a report you can hand over.
Transactions & data entry
- Import historical transactions in bulk from a CSV
- Record revenue against a client — a matching Payment Collection entry is created for you automatically
Dashboard & forecasting
- A dashboard summarising where the firm stands right now
- Budget & Revenue Forecast, built on formulas rather than guesses
Comparisons & targets
- Department Comparison, to see how different parts of the business are performing against each other
- Sales Targets (SOT) tracked alongside actuals
Reports & export
- Export any report as a CSV
- Export a report as a PDF, ready to send to a client
Key objects
The handful of things everything else in Report is built from.
- Transaction
- A single revenue or expense entry, either entered directly or imported from a CSV.
- Budget & Forecast
- Planned figures for a period, compared against actuals as they come in.
- Department
- A slice of the business you want to compare against the others — its own actuals, tracked separately.
- Sales Target (SOT)
- A target figure set for a client, department, or period, tracked alongside what's actually coming in.
- Payment Collection entry
- A record of a client payment, created automatically whenever a revenue transaction is logged against that client.
- Report / export
- A generated view of your data as a CSV or PDF, ready to send outside FinoPilo.
Getting started
From an empty workbook to your first client report.
- Import your transaction history.
Bring in past revenue and expenses from a CSV so your dashboard isn't starting from zero.
- Set department budgets.
Give each part of the business a target to be measured against.
- Review the dashboard.
Check where the firm stands before diving into any one report.
- Log revenue against a client.
Payment Collection tracks itself from there — no separate entry needed.
- Export a report.
Send it as a CSV for internal use, or a PDF when a client asks for one.
